Two second-half goals from Jordan Roberts - his first for the club - saw the Blues to a 2-1 victory over Tottenham’s U21s in their first ever Leasing.com Trophy game at Portman Road. Armando Shashoua gave the visitors the lead in the ninth minute but Armando Dobra twice created openings for Roberts, in the 47th and 66th minutes, to seal the three points for the Blues.

The Blues boss is ruling out a similar short-term switch for Teddy Bishop, although would be willing to allow youngsters such as Josh Emmanuel to go out for spells, but has no plans to add to his own squad before next week’s loan deadline.
